JAY HEALD
MANAGING PARTNER
Jay serves as CHP’s client relationship, business development, and leasing lead. Jay has completed nearly 1 million SF of medical leases in the Chicago market on behalf of the industries most prominent developers and owners which include public REITs, REPE Funds, and private capital owners.
Most recently, Jay was with MedProperties Group, a real estate private equity firm focused on healthcare development. Jay started his career at Equis Corp and JLL as a tenant rep advising multiple mid-cap public and private companies on their national real estate strategy.
Jay graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of the University’s rowing team.
DANIEL AHLERING

As CHP’s project team lead throughout the entire acquisition, repositioning and/or development process, Dan has acquired and developed over 750,000 square feet of medical buildings throughout his career, most in conjunction with preeminent health systems and regional physician groups.
Prior to forming CHP, Dan was a vice president at MedProperties Group, a Chicago-based real estate private equity firm focused on healthcare development and acquisitions. Dan is a cancer survivor and was drawn to the asset class as a result of his past experiences.
Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of the University’s soccer team.
JACK SULLIVAN
MANAGING PARTNER
Jack is CHP’s investment and underwriting lead, and co-lead on acquisition, repositioning and development processes.
Most recently, Jack was with MedProperties Group, a real estate private equity firm focused on healthcare development. Jack began his career working at JLL in their Capital Markets Group, working on behalf of both institutional and private investors on net lease investment sales, corporate finance activities, sale-leasebacks, and build-to-suit structuring. In that role, Jack was involved in the underwriting and execution of transactions valued in excess of $2.0 billion across North America.
Jack graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
